HERES’ THE SKIER’S FORECAST FOR THE MIDATLANTIC AND SOUTHEAST RESORTS:

A few morning snow leftovers…. then warming up for a day or three.

For WISP, TIMBERLINE and CANAAN…. Starting off today with snow showers (40%), then gradually becoming partly sunny, with a high in the lower 30’s.. Winds will be out of the west around 15 to 20 mph. Skies are partly cloudy for tonight with lows around 20 degrees. A bit of a warming trend starts on Thursday with partly cloudy skies and highs in the middle 40’s. Temperatures are back in the upper 40’s for Friday with temperatures in the mid and upper 40’s.

At SNOWSHOE…. Scattered light snow (30%) for the morning with clouds on the decrease by the afternoon. Temperatures will only make it into the middle 20’s, so bundle up. Mostly clear to partly cloudy skies for tonight with a low in the upper teens. Temperatures jump back into the low 40’s on Thursday with partly cloudy skies. More low 40’s for Friday with a few clouds on the increase.

WINTERGREEN, VA – A mix of sun and clouds today with temperatures topping out in the low 40’s. Clear and middle 20’s for tonight. Sunshine locks into place with temperatures warming up into the lower 50’s by Thursday and Friday.

OBER GATLINBURG, TN – Partly cloudy with a high near 50 degrees on for today. Clear skies this evening with lows back into the mid 20’s. A bit warmer for Thursday with a high around 53 degrees. Warmer with a chance of wet weather on Friday with isolated showers and temperatures in the middle 50’s.

HERE’S THE OUTLOOK FOR THE WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS….

Some widely scattered morning snow flurries and shower for the High Country with skies becoming cloudy and winds settling down to around 5 mph from the west. Afternoon temperatures will climb up to around 40 degrees. Clear and chilly tonight with lows in the low 20’s. Sunny conditions warm things up into the upper 40’s on Thursday, with clouds and scattered showers back in the picture for Friday as temperatures hold in the upper 40’s.
