Please check the slope conditions page for the details for slope openings. We’ll be updating a number of pages as we go through the day on Monday and will try to post as many photos and videos as possible from a Summit Weekend.

It was a blast and we want to thank Snowshoe’s wonderful staff for a great weekend that ended with remarkable 1-2 feet of powder on Sunday! It was simply amazing how much untracked powder we hit Sunday AM over on the ungroomed Sawmill, Camp 99 and Widowmaker trails.

Everyone that we spoke with was impressed!

From early numbers it looks like we had 150+ end up making the first annual trip and I had a great time meeting a bunch of the members and attendees. Thanks to ALL who made the trek and I hate that we didn’t have more time to spend more "quality time" with everyone. Those that made it a point to come and introduce themselves…thanks tons. Hopefully everyone had a great time.

Go enjoy what looks to be great conditions most everywhere this morning. The only notables to share right now is that Cloudmont in A-L-A-B-A-M-a is open today! Hawksnest is closed til Thursday under their late-season scheduling. Beech is closed for the season as is Sapphire Valley. All of the rest of our coverage area ski resorts are open with very good terrain available.

More to come…

Until Next time…
