It’s not as cold this morning as it has been the last two. The temp this morning here at our offices in Western North Carolina is 27° but we are also seeing a low of 22° around Linville and 40° at the higher elevations.  Can anyone say – inversion?  Lows across the ski regions range as low as 19° up at Green Bank in West Virginia (near Snowshoe).

Here’s the details for the next couple of days:

Wednesday – Clear – Hi: 54 Lo: 47

Thursday –  Partly Cloudy – Hi: 49 Lo: 31

Friday – Clear – Hi: 46 Lo: 35

Saturday –  Clear – Hi: 48 Lo: 36

Further out we are seeing somewhat colder temps and we’ve heard from one ski area that they will be making snow as early as the next few days! Can you guess who that would be? Stay tuned and we’ll tell you.
