More Cold and MORE SNOW is in the Forecast!

We’re going to summarize the weather forecast today by saying that the next few days will be very interesting weather-wise.  Look for continued COLD temps at all of the Southeast’s ski areas.  Highs in the 20s and lows in the teens…and even colder air will hit late in the weekend.

Snow is in the forecast across the board with some areas picking up “plowable” snowfalls.  Areas like Snowshoe, Timberline and Canaan Valley…and into Wisp Resort in Maryland could see several inches.  Ski Beech, Hawksnest and areas around Western North Carolina could match that forecast as models are now reflecting a more liberal amount of snowfall and even after that passes through we are looking at wrap-around snows late into Saturday, Sunday and even Monday.  Conditions are perfect for substantial snows from this.  Stay tuned!

Until Next Time!
