The North Carolina Mountains may see some snow as early as Thursday night, with greater chances on Thursday.  The air is rather dry, but with wrap-around moisture possible, we could see some accumulations on Thursday into Friday.

Here’s the breakdown according to our sources:

Wednesday – Hi 50° – Lo 32° – Partly Cloudy

Thursday – Hi 42° – Lo 26° Partly Cloudy Early with some light snow chances in the PM hours.

Friday – Hi 28° – Lo 18° Mostly Cloudy with Snow Showers

Saturday – Hi 28° –  Lo 19° AM Snow Showers and turning Partly Cloudy later in the day.

Sunday – Hi 42° – Lo 30° with Partly Cloudy skies.

You weather groupies out there do us a favor and take note of what we are reporting compared to other reporting services and see if we don’t provide more accurate forecasts for the High Country.

See you on the slopes!
