Winter Storm Warnings remain in effect for parts of Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee. Many ares are seeing wind gusts of over 40 mph with windchills well below zero.

This Afternoon: Snow showers and areas of blowing snow. High near 13. Wind chill values as low as -10. Windy, with a northwest wind between 26 and 28 mph, with gusts as high as 44 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Tonight: Snow showers likely and areas of blowing snow. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 8. Wind chill values as low as -13. Windy, with a northwest wind between 26 and 29 mph, with gusts as high as 50 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Tuesday: A chance of snow showers, mainly before noon. Mostly sunny, with a high near 17. Wind chill values as low as -14. Breezy, with a west wind between 20 and 25 mph, with gusts as high as 44 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 11. Wind chill values as low as -1. West wind between 7 and 15 mph.

Wednesday: A slight chance of snow after 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 29. West wind between 3 and 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tonight: Snow showers and areas of blowing snow. Low around 1. Wind chill values as low as -25. Windy, with a northwest wind between 34 and 38 mph, with gusts as high as 48 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.

Tuesday: Snow showers and areas of blowing snow before 9am, then a chance of snow showers after 9am. High near 5. Wind chill values as low as -26. Windy, with a northwest wind 34 to 37 mph decreasing to between 20 and 23 mph. Winds could gust as high as 47 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.
