HERES’ THE SKIER’S FORECAST FOR THE MIDATLANTIC AND SOUTHEAST RESORTS:

Starting the day with some showers…. then we dry out and warm back up.

For WISP, TIMBERLINE and CANAAN…We’ll see some morning showers with highs in the upper 40’s and lower 50’s. Lingering clouds through Wednesday night with lows around the freezing mark. A mix of sun and clouds for Thursday with highs around 50 degrees, and we’ll wrap up the week with a sprinkle or two on Friday and highs in the middle and upper 50’s. The weekend looks to be dry with the mercury holding in the middle and upper 40’s.

At SNOWSHOE…. A 50% chance of showers through mid afternoon today with highs in the low and middle 40’s. Dry conditions build in with partly cloudy skies Wednesday night and lows in the middle 50’s. High pressure will keep the area dry and seasonable Thursday through the weekend with temperature in the middle 40’s to around 50 degrees.

WINTERGREEN, VA & OBER GATLINBURG, TN – For Wednesday, look for morning showers and decreasing afternoon clouds with a high around 52 for Wintergreen, mid 50’s for Gatlinburg. Thursday and Friday will be dry and a degree or two warmer. A dry high pressure pattern keep the area Sunny and warm, in the middle 60’s through the weekend.

HERE’S THE OUTLOOK FOR THE WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS….

Today we’ll have lingering widely scattered showers with temperatures in the lower and middle 50’s, as clouds are on the decrease for the late afternoon and evening. Mostly clear skies move in for the overnight period with lows in the low 30’s. Dry for Thursday with highs rebounding into the middle 50’s. The dry and mild pattern stays in place through the weekend with sunny skies and mild readings in the low and middle 50’s for daytime highs.
