HERES’ THE SKIER’S FORECAST FOR THE MIDATLANTIC AND SOUTHEAST RESORTS:

Our warm streak continues….

For WISP, TIMBERLINE and CANAAN…. Sunshine and blue skies today with highs in the upper 40’s. Clear skies tonight with lows in the middle 20’s. Clouds will be on the increase with isolated afternoon rain showers on Thursday and a high around 50. The “Liquid Snow” continues for Friday (60%) with a high in the lower 50’s.

At SNOWSHOE…. The area will see mostly sunny skies today with temperatures in the upper 40’s. Clear and low 30’s tonight. Thursday looks a bit breezy with partly sunny skies and temperatures in the upper 40‘s. Rain showers move in over Thursday night and continue into Friday (60%) with highs in the low 50’s.

WINTERGREEN, VA & OBER GATLINBURG, TN – Skies will be partly cloudy to mostly sunny today and tomorrow with temperatures in the upper 50’s. Rain showers move in Thursday night and hold over into Friday (60%)… wrapping up week #1 of 2007 with highs in the middle 50’s to lower 60’s.

HERE’S THE OUTLOOK FOR THE WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS….

High pressure parked over the southeast will provide sunny skies for today with highs in the lower 50’s. Skies will be clear overnight with a low around 30 degrees. Clouds move in for Thursday with a 30% chance for some liquid sunshine, mainly in the afternoon. The rain showers hold over into Friday (60%) with temperatures holding in the lower 50’s.
