Update 10/2/19: The pass now also includes Ober Gatlinburg.  Quite a deal for anyone wanting to try out multiple ski areas in the region this year!

Another multi-resort ski pass has hit the market this week with the release of the Indy Pass.  For just $199 you get to ski two days at each of the 34 participating resorts in the United States and Canada.  That’s 68 days of skiing and/or snowboarding for only a couple hundred bucks…quite a deal.

The 34 resorts participating in the program appear to be smaller and more quaint (aka less crowded and less expensive) than the ones included in the higher profile Ikon and Epic passes.  Included in the list of available resorts are 4 from our neck of the woods.  They would be Bryce Resort, Canaan Valley Resort, Cataloochee Ski Area, and Massanutten Resort.  Even if you don’t go out west or somewhere outside the region, the pass would pay for itself just by skiing or snowboarding 8 days at those resorts.  I don’t know exact lift ticket prices this season, but I’ve got to imagine we’re talking about a 60 plus percent discount if you use all 8 days.  And again, that’s just for 8 days at those 4 resorts.  There’s 30 other participating resorts and 60 more days of skiing to be potentially had!

As with all deals, there are some important notes and a few restrictions that are laid out on their FAQ page.  The price goes up on December 1st (only 20 bucks though) and they are offering some nice payment plans as well.  Just make sure you completely pay it off before your first day on the slopes as it’s not valid until then!

Click the button below to check out their site and purchase the pass.  All in all, it seems like a heck of a good deal!  Now we just need some snow.
