We’re expecting highs in the 20s and lows in the single digits with SNOW in the forecast for ski areas all across the Southeast and Mid Atlantic from the North Carolina mountains all the way to Wisp Resort in Western Maryland.

Here’s a weather summary with subtle temperature tweaks depending in the state.

Friday : Hi: 38 Lo: 26 – Partly cloudy chance of light snow late at night; 10-20 mph winds with early gusts to 40 mph

Saturday :  Hi: 30 Lo: 7 –  Light snow; Turning very cold at night; 15-25 mph winds with gusts to 45 mph at night. Possibility of 2-3" of snow

Sunday : Hi: 19 Lo: 6 – Partly cloudy after the snow moves out for North Carolina mountains and some hangover snow still around into West Virginia mountains.

Monday : Hi: 32 Lo: 22 – Mostly sunny day; Increasing clouds late; Not as cold but WV ski areas may not get out of the w0s
