HERE’S THE SKIER’S FORECAST FOR THE MIDATLANTIC AND SOUTHEAST RESORTS:

For WISP, TIMBERLINE & CANAAN…. Some patchy morning fog to start Monday off with partly cloudy skies and highs in the middle 60’s. Clouds will build up a little more for the afternoon with a 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms, lingering into the evening. For the late night, skies will be partly cloudy with lows in the middle and upper 40’s. A few scattered showers in the mix for Tuesday with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low 60’s.

SNOWSHOE… Skies will be partly cloudy with the possibility of an afternoon shower sneaking in (20%) for Monday and temperatures in the lower 60’s. Monday evening may bring another isolated (20%) shower or thunderstorm with otherwise partly cloudy skies and lows in the upper 40’s. A 40% chance of showers or thunderstorms for Tuesday with highs in the upper 50’s.

WINTERGREEN….. Partly cloudy skies are back to start off the week on Monday with a high around 65 degrees. Skies remain partly cloudy Monday night with the mercury sliding into the lower 50’s. A 20% chance of showers will move in for Tuesday with temperatures warming up into the middle 70’s.

HERE’S THE OUTLOOK FOR THE WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS….
Temperatures will be in the lower and middle 60’s across the High Country on Monday with a 20% chance of showers or thunderstorms for the afternoon, thanks to a stalled frontal system hovering over the region. More isolated thundershowers early Monday night with lows in the middle and upper 40’s. Tuesday will be partly cloudy with a 30% shower and thunderstorm chance as temperatures warm to near 70 degrees.
