THE NORTH CAROLINA FORECAST :
Friday: Hi 21° Lo 4° (SNOWMAKING) – Mostly sunny, Northwest wind between 10 and 14 mph.
Saturday: Hi 27° Lo 13° (SNOWMAKING) – A slight chance of snow and sleet between 1pm and 3pm, then a slight chance of sleet after 3pm.
Sunday: Hi 34° Lo 25° – Rain or freezing rain, becoming all rain after 1pm. South wind around 7 mph becoming west.
Monday: Hi 44° Lo 28° – Partly sunny, a chance of showers at night.
Tuesday: Hi 45° Lo 33° – A chance of rain and snow showers. Mostly cloudy.
Wednesday: Hi 35° Lo 28° (SNOWMAKING) – Partly sunny
Thursday: Hi 27° Lo 18° (SNOWMAKING) – Partly sunny.
WEST VIRGINIA RESORTS:
Friday: Hi 19° Lo 7° (SNOWMAKING) – Sunny, wind chill values as low as -15. Windy, with a west wind between 26 and 33 mph, with gusts as high as 48 mph.
Saturday: Hi 32° Lo 27° (SNOWMAKING) – Mostly sunny. Wind chill values as low as -5. Northwest wind 7 to 11 mph becoming south.
Sunday: Hi 40° Lo 32° – Rain, mainly before 4pm. Breezy, with a southwest wind between 15 and 23 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. The NWS is predicting new rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
Monday: Hi 44° Lo 32° – Partly sunny, a chance of showersat night. Mostly cloudy. NWS predicts a hance of precipitation is 30% in the Snowshoe area.
Tuesday: Hi 36° Lo 22° – A chance of rain showers, snow showers, and freezing rain. Mostly cloudy.
Wednesday: Hi 26° Lo 16° – A chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Thursday: Hi 21° – Partly sunny
