Shauna Johnson submitted this "On-Snow" report for SkiSoutheast – "We’re hanging out here at Snowshoe Mountain Resort with eight inches of natural snowfall since early Monday morning and it’s still coming down. Add that to around-the-clock snowmaking on more than 30 trails in both the Snowshoe and Silver Creek Areas, and Snowshoe Mountain Resort will be in good shape come this weekend. We’ll open two more trails tomorrow(Wednesday) in the Snowshoe Area—Skip Jack and Gandy Dancer. Spruce Glades will open as a Terrain Park with a dozen features on Thursday. The Silver Creek Area opens for the season on Thursday as well."
