HERE’S THE SKIER’S FORECAST FOR THE MIDATLANTIC AND SOUTHEAST RESORTS:

For WISP, TIMBERLINE & CANAAN…… Sunshine and cooler temperatures for Sunday with afternoon highs around 40 degrees. Skies will be clear Sunday night with lows around 20 degrees. Sunshine sticks around to start the week Monday with highs in the low 50’s.

SNOWSHOE…. Skies dry out for Sunday mostly sunny skies and cool afternoon temperatures in the lower 40’s. Mostly clear conditions Sunday night allow the mercury to slide into the upper 20’s. Blue skies to start off the week with temperatures slightly warmer, in the upper 40’s.

WINTERGREEN….. The second half of the weekend, skies become partly sunny with temperatures climbing into the upper 50’s. Overnight lows Sunday will fall into the upper 20’s with clear skies. Sunshine returns for Monday with afternoon highs in the middle 50’s.

OBER GATLINBURG…. Skies are mostly sunny for Sunday with very mild temperatures warming up into the middle 60’s. Clear skies for Sunday night with overnight temperatures bottoming out in the middle 30’s. The warm trend continues for Monday with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the upper 60’s.

HERE’S THE OUTLOOK FOR THE WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS….
Skies become mostly sunny for the High Country on Sunday with temperatures warming up into the middle 50’s. Temperatures fall into the low and middle 30’s Sunday night with mostly clear skies. Partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies are back for Monday and Tuesday with temperatures holding in the middle and upper 50’s.
