NC SKI AREAS FORECAST:

Saturday: Rain. Patchy fog before 9am. High near 50. South wind between 15 and 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Saturday Night: Showers. Patchy fog before 8pm. Low around 44. Breezy, with a south wind between 13 and 21 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

Sunday: Showers, mainly before 3pm. High near 48. Northwest wind between 7 and 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

WEST VIRGINIA / MARYLAND SKIERS FORECAST:

Saturday: Showers likely, mainly after 5pm. Cloudy, with a high near 49. Breezy, with a south wind between 21 and 24 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Saturday Night: Rain and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. Low around 39. Breezy, with a south wind 19 to 22 mph decreasing to between 7 and 10 mph. Winds could gust as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
