HERE’S THE SKIER’S FORECAST FOR THE MIDATLANTIC AND SOUTHEAST RESORTS:

For WISP, TIMBERLINE & CANAAN….. Partly cloudy today with a high around 27 degrees. Nearly steady temperatures tonight with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the middle 20’s. Yet another round of light snow moves back in for Tuesday (40%) and Wednesday with temperatures in the middle 30’s.

SNOWSHOE…. Warmer for President’s Day with highs in the middle 30’s and partly cloudy skies. Overnight temperatures will only dip down into the middle 20’s with clear skies. Clouds move back in with a 50% chance of rain on Tuesday. Temperatures will warm up to around 40 degrees. A return to sunshine and slightly cooler temperatures Wednesday with highs around 35 degrees..

WINTERGREEN…. Sunny and a bit warmer today with highs in the upper 30’s. Skies will be partly cloudy this evening with lows around 30 degrees. Milder temperatures with scattered rain showers (40%) on Tuesday and Wednesday with temperatures in the middle and upper 40’s.

OBER GATLINBURG…. Warmer with sunny skies on President’s Day with temperatures in the upper around 50 degrees. Skies are partly cloudy tonight with a low around 33 degrees. Clouds are back Tuesday with a 40% chance of rain showers and temperatures warming up into the low 50’s. Readings jump into the upper 50’s Wednesday with partly cloudy skies.

HERE’S THE OUTLOOK FOR THE WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS….
For President’s day, sunshine returns with warmer temperatures around 40 degrees. Clear skies tonight with a low in the upper 30’s. Clouds return for Tuesday with a 40% rain chance developing as temperatures warm into the middle 40’s. Sunshine is back for the middle of the week with highs well into the 40’s on Wednesday.
