For WISP, TIMBERLINE & CANAAN…. Dry for Sunday, with partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the middle 50’s. Skies will be mostly clear Sunday night with lows in the upper 30’s. A few clouds move in for Monday with an isolated afternoon shower (20%) and a high around 60 degrees.
SNOWSHOE… Only an isolated morning shower for Sunday, then partly cloudy skies with highs in the lower 60’s. Skies will be mostly clear Sunday night with a low around 40 degrees. The possibility of an afternoon shower sneaks in (20%) for Monday with temperatures in the low and middle 50’s.
WINTERGREEN….. Basically dry for the rest of the weekend with only a 20% rain chance Sunday and Sunday night with highs in the upper 60’s and lows in the middle 40’s. Partly cloudy skies are back to start off the week with a high around 60 degrees.
HERE’S THE OUTLOOK FOR THE WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS….
Can’t rule out a widely scattered shower or thunderstorm for the High Country on Sunday (30%) with another warm afternoon in the middle 60’s. A lingering shower or thunderstorm, mainly in the early evening with lows in the middle 40’s. Temperatures will be in the lower 60’s Monday with a 20% chance of a few raindrops.
