I just heard from Tammy Brown at Cataloochee Ski Area and she shared,

“You’re right and thanks for checking. We just got out of a staff meeting and he told us we will close at 4:30pm on Sunday. Grateful to be able to close with snow on the ground and looking good – and happy to be in a great group of folks doing that as well! Its been a great season. Thanks for everything you do! – tammy”

…and with that last bit of intel, we can now share you now have three days left to play on the snow in the Southeast and mid-Atlantic.

Snowshoe Mountain, Wisp Resort (and Sugar Mountain) have already posted a Sunday closing date and Massanutten & Bryce resorts in Virginia have already closed mid-week and will offer one last weekend of skiing and snowboarding.

So if you want one last chance to shred…the countdown clock is running. You have three days left and six resorts to choose from. What are you waiting for?
