We’re still working to assign the free lift ticket giveaways so you’re free to enter for free skiing, however we have chosen our last four vacation winners.
We’ve had some fun this morning giving away so many freebies in one day. (We always do!) One kind of funny note is how many people that we randomly picked to win, made the phone call and got answering machines. We did not leave messages. Evidently a LOT of people are screening calls these days, because we had several call our office back. (The phone number shows up as AppNet so they had no idea they had just missed out on a free vacation!)
Without further delay, here’s the winners and the notes.
Trip Number Eleven Winner is William Allen of Powder Springs, Georgia. He will be vacationing on March 1st at the Hidden Valley Motel, skiing at Hawksnest and he was thrilled to be a winner.
Trip Number Twelve’s winner is Michelle Scott of Lakeland, Florida. Michelle works for a doctors office and evidently she provided her significant other’s phone number. He was excited and tried to conference call us in. That didn’t work so I got in touch with her and made the arrangements. Michelle will be vacationing at Eagle Ridge Log Cabins in Banner Elk and Skiing Free at Ski Beech. We also gave her free rentals for the weekend from the great people at Ski Country Sports in Banner Elk.
Trip Number Thirteen’s winner was an interesting conversation. Charles Pyron of Little Rock, Arkansas is the winner of the Silver Fox Log Cabin Vacation. Charles is on SkiNC and SkiSoutheast everyday according to him. He caught the SkiNC bug while residing in Montgomery, Alabama and he wrote, “I am compelled to visit your website every day. My wife thinks I’m nuts, but understands my love for the NC Mountains! I guess I could say that I live vicariously through your website.”
Charles will be vacationing in Boone, skiing at Hawksnest and getting free ski rentals from 1stTracks Ski and Snowboard shop in Boone. (It is always great to speak with people who have such an obvious passion for the mountains. As we’ve said many times, this place gets its hooks in you!) Charles said that he’s always looking for an excuse to come here and we’ve just given him one!
Trip Number Fourteen’s winner is Mike Duchock of Stone Mountain, Georgia. Mike will be staying at the Angel’s View Cottage in Boone and skiing at Hawksnest Resort and getting free ski rentals from 1st Tracks.
