FOUR winners (and their best friends, etc) will be enjoying four great ski getaways this weekend compliments of the ski resorts, our lodging partners, ski rental shops and SkiSoutheast.com.
Tripp Curry of Charlotte, NC is the winner of Trip Number Eight, which was for Free lodging at the Hidden Valley Motel, Free Skiing at Hawksnest and Free Ski Rentals at 1stTracks Ski Shop in Boone.
Our Trip Number Nine winner is Brandon Pendry of Chapel Hill, N.C. Brandon and a friend are going to have a nice stay to the beautiful Vine Cottage Inn Bed & Breakfast just outside of the entrance to The Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Virginia. Brandon and his ski pal for the weekend will have free breakfasts as well and skiing for TWO DAYS at The Homestead Resort. Branden promised to get us some nice pics of The Homestead while they are there! Homestead’s Cindy White told us that conditions are great and this weekend should be sweet!
Trip Number Ten goes to Debra Wise of Columbia, South Carolina is a last second replacement winner for Marti Johannsen of just outside of Washington, D.C. Marti had a family emergency and had to forfeit the trip. We were just about to pick through our list of contest entries for a replacement when at that moment I received an email from Debra, who had entered and was just inquiring about the winners. We said “What the heck, that was about as random as it comes” and we contacted her and voila, she is on her way to Ski Beech to ski; she’ll be staying at the gorgeous Eagle Ridge Log Cabins in Banner Elk and Free Ski Rentals come compliments of Ski Country Sports in Banner Elk. With 3 to 6” of snow in the forecast, she should have a wonderful time.
Also enjoying this weekend’s snow and great conditions will be Brian and Jessica Miller of Cayce, S.C. who won Trip Number Four a few weeks ago. That trip allowed the winner to pick the weekend they wished. Brian and his wife will be enjoying lodging at The beautiful Meadowbrook Inn, Dining for up to $100 for them, and (4) free lift tickets.
It should be a great weekend of fun for these guys and gals! Be sure to send us some photos!
Before I “sign off” on this update, now that the ski season is offering some outrageous conditions, we’re going to get REALLY into a giving mode and giveaway ALL of the rest of our vacation getaways AS WELL AS all of the rest of our free passes. So be SURE to check back daily next week, because it could happen any day! We’re going to give away the rest of our free tickets to Appalachain, Cataloochee, Hawksnest, Ski Beech, Wolf Ridge, Wintergreen, and Winterplace. We had a few requests for the other resorts, however we gave away all of the rest, including more than 110 freebies to Snowshoe!
