 and It is STILL Snowing This Morning!){kind=link}
When I last posted six days ago, I referenced that I was enjoying the recent trend of seeing a little snowfall every few days. It seems that trend is still in place as it snowed last night in the High Country. Several people posted snow falling around the area. We saw snow on Kings Street in Boone and portions of Sugar and Beech are covered in another dusting of snow.
As I checked in on Snowshoe and WV ski resorts, there is currently snow falling at Canaan Valley, where they have recorded .3″ of snow so far.
Snowshoe’s webcams are all showing snowfall and they are ALSO making snow, which is something that our buddy, Shawn Cassell predicted would be happening. While he called this one another test of their systems, there is snowmaking happening from top to bottom. He also said that we could look for Snowshoe to actually begin making snow for their opening sometime next week – weather permitting.
