By auto, Beech Mountain is easily reached via the Interstate
system. Major approaches are I-77, I-85, I-26, and I-40. Main
highways from the interstate's are US 221, US 321, US 421, and
US 19E. From either Boone or Linville, NC, take NC 105 to NC
184. Follow NC 184 to SKI BEECH.

Cataloochee is located four miles off US HWY 19 above Maggie
Valley, North Carolina. The ski area is easily accessed from
Interstate 40. Take exit 27 when coming from the east or exit 20
from the west. From the Atlanta area and points south take US
441 to US 23 exiting in the city of Waynesville. |
