HERE’S THE SKIER’S FORECAST FOR THE MIDATLANTIC AND SOUTHEAST RESORTS:

For WISP, TIMBERLINE & CANAAN…… For Thursday, clouds and likely rain showers (70%) with afternoon temperatures in the lower 50’s. More rain for Thursday night (70%) with temperatures falling into the lower 30’s. Not warming up much for Friday with a 50% chance of rain and snow showers with temperatures climbing into the upper 30’s.

SNOWSHOE….Slightly cooler daytime temperatures for Thursday with a high around 54 degrees and a 60% rain chance. More rain for Thursday night (90%) with temperatures in the upper 30’s. The week ends with a 70% chance of rain or snow on Friday and highs only in the upper 30’s.

WINTERGREEN….. Clouds thicken up a bit with a 60% rain chance by Thursday afternoon and a high around 72 degrees. The rain chances bump up to 80% Thursday night and Friday with lows in the upper 30’s and a high only a couple of degrees warmer.

OBER GATLINBURG….Mostly cloudy skies move in for Thursday with a 60% rain chance and highs in the middle 60’s. Rain will be likely Thursday night (90% chance) with temperatures falling into the middle 40’s. More occasional rain (60%) for Friday with highs in the lower 50’s.

HERE’S THE OUTLOOK FOR THE WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS….
Cloudy skies for the High Country on Thursday with a 60% rain chance, mainly in the afternoon and highs in the lower 60’s. More wet conditions for Thursday night (80%) with lows in the middle 40’s. The week wraps up with a 90% rain chance on Friday and highs in the upper 40’s and lower 50’s. Colder air moves in Friday night with temperatures in the upper 20’s and a 20% chance of light snow.
