The rain is supposed to change over to snow this evening and there should be a prolonged period of snow and even some blizzard conditions that will accumulate to as much as 2-8" of snow in Western North Carolina, 3-9" into Wisp in Maryland and perhaps as much as a foot of snow in the West Virginia Mountain.
