Bryce is one of the few ski resorts in the Mid-Atlantic Region which has true beginner terrain.
Combine our accomodating beginner area with our nationally accredited Horst Locher Ski School and you have Virginia’s Premier Learn to Ski and Snowboard Resort! Two carpet lifts were added in 2010, and a newly created space has been specifically reserved for our Children’s Snowsport Learning Center. Separate training areas are now available for very young children and older beginners.
If you are only visiting for a day, sign up for one of our First Time Ski/Snowboard Packages. If you are vacationing at Bryce for a more extended period, let one of our Ski School representatives tailor a multi-day Ski or Snowboard Instruction Program to fit your specific needs. Our highly qualified instructors will have you skiing or boarding proficiently in only a few days. We have group and private instruction programs to accomodate all our guests’ needs – children, adults, first timers, or seasoned skiers/riders looking to fine tune their technique.
