Today’s featured image is from Snowshoe Mountain – isn’t it a beautiful view?

It is amazing how fast time has slowed down.

With everything going on right now with the COVID-19 outbreak and social distancing, it seems that time has come to a virtual standstill – at least to me anyway.

This morning as I was looking at the calendar it dawned on me – we are just one month removed abruptly from the 2019-20 ski season.

Has anyone else felt like it has been three months? Or is that just me?

Even crazier, we were in Snowshoe for the Ski Southeast Summit not even 50 days ago.

Craziness.

I hope you and your family are well – our Ski Southeast team has been blessed to stay healthy so far. My hope and prayer is that continues to be the case over the coming weeks and months.

April – especially the first couple of weeks in the month – has always felt weird to me. I mean one day it can be 80 and sunny, and the next day it can be snowing.

This year has been no different as we have seen the roller coaster trend of the season continue, but hopefully, the swings become less wild as we move into May.

All the rambling aside, we are still in a “pause” mode as it comes to summer activities at the resorts.

Snowshoe Mountain announced earlier this week that they would be delaying their summer opening day, and we are awaiting reopening announcements for those who offer mountain biking, hiking, and other summer activities.

As we get updates, we will certainly share them on site as well as on social media.

It is a different time, but we are all in it together.

Until next time and as always #ThinkSnow!
