HERE’S THE SKIER’S FORECAST FOR THE MIDATLANTIC AND SOUTHEAST RESORTS:

For WISP, TIMBERLINE & CANAAN…. Snow showers continue Friday (20%) with a high around 17 degrees. Partly cloudy skies Friday night with a low around 5 degrees. A bit warmer Saturday with another round of snow showers (50%) and temperatures in the middle 20’s. A 40% chance of snow on Sunday with temperatures in the low and middle 20’s.

SNOWSHOE…. Snow showers continue Friday (40%) with a high in the lower teens. A bit warmer Saturday with an 80% snow chance and temperatures in the middle 20’s. Snow will be likely again (80%) on Sunday with cooler temperatures in the lower teens.

WINTERGREEN…. Friday will be sunny with highs in the upper 20’s. Lows at night will dip into the low teens with clear skies. Clouds will move in Saturday with slightly warmer daytime temperatures in the middle 30’s. Isolated snow showers (20%) may develop in the afternoon. Skies will be mostly cloudy on Sunday with a high temperature around 30 degrees.

OBER GATLINBURG….. . Sunny skies will end the work week with temperatures in the middle 30’s. Clouds are back with some snow (60% chance) on Saturday with highs in the middle 30’s. Snow continues Saturday night into Sunday with lows in the middle 20’s and highs in the middle 30’s.

HERE’S THE OUTLOOK FOR THE WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS….
Friday will end the week with sunshine and temperatures in the middle 20’s across the High Country. Another weather system will start off the weekend with a 40% chance of snow showers and highs in the low 30’s. More light snow for Saturday night and Sunday with lows in the upper teens and highs in the middle 20’s.
