Here’s the weather from North to South:
Wisp is looking at some good chances for rain to snow today and snow showers on Wednesday. Highs today should be around 40°. The snowguns will fire up later as temps drop to the low 20s.
Wednesday should be snowy and there’s some forecasters who are saying that they may see 3-5” tonight and another 3” or more on Wednesday. That could be GREAT! Highs tomorrow should be around 30° and Wednesday night’s low should be around 19°
Thursday should be sunny and cold with a high around 30° and overnight lows near 20°
Friday and Saturday should be sunny with highs in the low to mid 40s and overnight lows around freezing.
Snowshoe is looking at much the same forecast as for WISP Above…but even colder temps. Look for Sunny skies today and 3-5” of snow on Wednesday. Highs Wednesday should be in the mid 20s with overnight lows Wednesday night near 10°
Thursday, Friday and Saturday should be sunny with temps in the 30s and lows cold enough to make snow!
Wintergreen Resort is looking at a bit warmer temps and no snow in the forecast according to the NWS. They are looking at beautiful sunny skies from now through Saturday with highs in the 40s each day and in the mid 50s by Saturday. Overnight lows in the 20s and 30s throughout the period.
