It is nearly 60° this morning at Basye, VA (home to Bryce Resort) and things will stay mild all week there as temps will be in the 50s most all week, with lows near 40° until things get colder on Saturday night. Expect a slight chance of scattered showers Wednesday and Saturday.
It’s a bit colder at Massanutten and Wintergreen Resort this morning (43°) and they can expect pretty much the same weather pattern, with only slightly cooler temps.
The forecast changes a little when we move up to Davis, West Virginia (Home to Canaan, White Grass and Timberline Resorts). The same basic pattern of precip holds, with a nice day today and Tuesday. 50% chance of light showers on Wednesday and Friday. However, there’s a better chance of snow on Saturday. Highs will be in the 40s and 50s this week and lows in the mid-to-upper 30s until Saturday. Even Snowshoe gets into the Spring Weather game with highs in the 40s, to near 50° most of the week. Lows will be in the low to mid 30s until Friday night.
That’s pretty much IT for the weather for the entire week. Expect Springlike temps and a little drizzle perhaps in the middle. Temps look to be staying within this mild trend through at least January 16th.
