HERE’S THE SKIER’S FORECAST FOR THE MIDATLANTIC AND SOUTHEAST RESORTS:

For WISP, TIMBERLINE & CANAAN…. Some off-and-on snow showers today (20%) with another day in the deep freeze as temperatures warm up to around 10 degrees. Wind chills will make it feel more like -5 degrees. More snow showers Wednesday night and Thursday, with a low around 4 degrees and highs in the middle teens.

SNOWSHOE…. A 30% snow chance today with highs around 9 degrees and wind chills around -10. More clouds and scattered snow showers tonight (30%) with a low around zero. Not much warmer Thursday with a 20% snow chance and a high around 5 degrees.

WINTERGREEN…. Sunshine for today with a high around 30 degrees. Skies will be partly cloudy tonight with lows around 11 degrees. Partly cloudy skies will hang out Thursday and Friday with a high around 33 degrees both days.

OBER GATLINBURG…. Isolated snow showers this morning (20%) with highs climbing into the low 40’s for the afternoon. Skies will be partly cloudy Wednesday night with lows around 20 degrees. More low 40’s for Thursday with partly cloudy skies.

HERE’S THE OUTLOOK FOR THE WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA MOUNTAINS….
A leftover snowflake or rain shower this morning, with gusty winds as high as 50 mph. Highs will warm into the upper 30’s. Skies are partly cloudy tonight with a low around 20 degrees. A mix of sun and clouds moves into the High Country for Thursday and Friday with highs in the low and middle 30’s, and more moderate winds around 5 to 10 mph.
