Snowshoe is set to drop the rope on Friday.

The 2020-21 Winter Season at Snowshoe will begin on Friday, Dec. 4. The resort is set to host a Season Passholder/Employee Appreciation Day on Thursday, Dec. 3.

Snowshoe has taken advantage of the recent cold weather as well as eight inches of fresh powder to get ready for opening day.

They are expecting to have 6-12 slopes in the central Basin open on Friday with the Ballhooter, Powder Monkey, and Skidder lifts spinning.
