Snowshoe Mountain hosts their first big event of the winter season this coming weekend. Enjoy a weekend packed full of great skiing and riding along with live entertainment, fun and games on the slopes. They will also offer the 3rd Annual Village Rail Competition, free equipment demo from ski and snowboard manufacturers, fireworks and much more.

Here’s the schedule of activities.

Friday, December 10

Ski Chalet Demo Days
If you live in the Richmond or Washington DC area, be sure to stop in any Ski Chalet store and pick up your $2 Ski Chalet Demo Days Lift Ticket.

Saturday, December 11

Free Equipment Demos
All the top ski and snowboard manufacturers will be on hand letting you try out the latest and greatest products. Listed below are the companies currently committed to have their products available for demos:

11:00am – 3pm: Live entertainment on Skidder Slope. Crazy on-slopes games on Skidder Slope

5pm – 7:00pm: 3rd Annual Village Rail Competition in the Snowshoe Village Plaza. Registration is from 12pm – 3pm in Full Tilt Snow Style and Skate.

8pm: Spectacular Mountaintop fireworks display on Skidder Slope

Sunday, December 12

Free Equipment Demos
All the top ski and snowboard manufacturers will be on hand letting you try out the latest and greatest products.

12pm – 2pm: Slopestyle Competition in the Spruce Glades Terrain Park. Registration from 9am – 11am in Full Tilt Snow Style and Skate.

5pm – 7pm: Industry Appreciation Party in the Connection Night Club. If you’re in the ski and snowboard industry (rep, shop or resort employee), join us in the Connection for some apres fun and games.
