slopes PLEAS help!

RidgeRunner at Winterplace starts as a long green.

I think that what he really needs is a lesson or two. Maybe go to Cat on a weekday. Get a package deal that includes a lesson. The lesson will be less crowded on a weekday and less people on the slopes. I think that would open him up to slopes on any of the mountains.

plenty of beginner slopes at all the resorts. forget about who has the steepest

I suggest Turkey shoot at Winterplace -- it looks scary at the top but immediately flattens out, a short but mellow cruiser. Hit it on a cold morning first thing

sugar has the flatest terrain and the steepest terrain. the bottom of that hill is like kansas

agreed...as I told someone before, I started skiing on Sugar...the bunnie slope done enough gets to be boring...then you move on to big birch, which for a newbie may seem steep, but is that push you need to get better, then you can move up to the longer ones, and eventually get to the black diamonds...I'd say sugar is pretty progressive and a great place to learn!

That's good stuff to hear pb....Cat's gonna have to be my "home hill" whenever I get the chance to go, since it's only about 30min from the new place, but I've got my hopeful eyes on the others too!

I agree Sugar probably has some of the best terrain. My problems with them come from their infrastructure, employees, and busloads of people.
