First time poster, but a longtime visitor of the site. Our family of four are avid skiers. Our last trip was to Snowshoe the weekend after MLK. The snow was great, but the wind was howling on Friday. They opened up the Western Territory after lunch, and there was hardly anyone there. I am trying to see if we can get up there for the Summit Weekend. If we do not make it, I hope everyone has a great time. Also, if you have not eaten there, try Embers. Great atmosphere and food. I highly suggest reservations.

Welcome! What ages are the kids? Marz Jr. and I will be at the SS Summit staying at Silver Creek. She's in fourth grade, can ski blacks anywhere in the SE (all blues or easy blacks at Alta), and loves meeting new ski buddies.

Both of mine are teenagers. They have been on skis since they were five. They started off in the Ski Wee program at Winterplace. Us making it to the Summit Weekend will really depend of their schedules, but hopefully we can make it.
