Note to self, start trolling the Saints fan message board about this...

Weather service just popped an official Hurricane warning up on the tv. Means more drain cleaning, Pulling boats out of the water , securing patio items and lashing kayaks to big boats when we get them back around from the launch. I would have rather been west of the system but mother nature has the last word.

A lot of rain is an understatement. Here's the 5 day QPF from the HPC. The legend is on the left.
Also, I'm moving this thread to the weather section.

Looks like we are going to get lots of wind and rain but not the brunt of it. The problem here along the coast is we have been getting rain almost every day for the last two weeks. The water is going to be the biggest issue due to over saturation.

The latest track is the worst for us. If it moves up the Mississippi River, it puts us on the worst side of the storm. More wind , rain and tornadoes for us if it stays this course. Got the MH ready just in case. Topped it off with gas, had 3/4 tank and still spent $111, and filled up the fresh water holding tank. Got to move it out of the back yard Tuesday to the front driveway. Too many trees in the back yard that could come down.
