The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

"I’ll have to start this post with some good inside information, then give a daily forecast. Weather professionals will overlook jumps in data until another run or two. We’ll see if that trend continues. In the last couple of days, the chance for snow Christmas has looked good. Now we have a jump in the numerical data to a wetter and colder outlook for Saturday. That would tend to mean we will blend it in to the forecast, but not go “all in” just yet. In other words, this developing Winter system could turn in to a legitimate Winter Storm with pockets of heavy snow. The potential is there for not just some snow Christmas, but a dump of snow Christmas ! Don’t get too excited yet, this system isn’t on the map yet… but it will be."

This storm has the potential to be historic for much of the east coast.

They are even talking about the possibility of significant snowfall in the midlands of SC. I have never seen a white Christmas - would be awesome!

This guy does a really good job of explaining the upcoming storm. The video is from this morning with some comments near the top that reinforce the upcoming event. He updates daily.
