I try to keep up with gear but I'm really ignorant about boots in comparison to other stuff, cork liners? didn't even know about that

I assume liner means footbeds/othodics. My cork footbeds are 12 yrs old...worth every $ spent on them. Mine are custom, not reusable. Cork has since been replaced with a man-made material by most/all footbed manufacturers.

Both liners are cork. The process is heating the liners in the oven at 220 degrees for about 10 minutes, Then putting them back in the boots and buckling them tight to mold to your feet.

BTW, I will be donating the sale of these boots to local ski patrol.
