Falakro in Greece

As mentioned previously, I today skiid in Greece. Falakro means bald in English, indeed the entire area lies above the treeline. Today was an amazing experience. There are runs that are groomed, but realistically the only boundaries involve certain death or a long walk uphill. The vertical drop top to bottom is not impressive but the entire experience was fabulous. Keep in mind for perspective the size of features like buildings and people. It's bigger than it looks. Cost for a 1 day pass: 8 euros. (About 8 dollars).

Only $8..by the looks of it they need to raise the price to reduce the crowds. Looks ominous, similar in scale to Vail's back-bowls I'd guess.
