The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

Aiden and I got up about 430 and saw a Full moon with a paraselene around it as we headed out.

I'm stuck in a financial nether region with him at the moment in regards to him skiing at Cat, a year younger and he skis free, a year older and he skis for 49 lift ticket, lesson and rentals included. As it is, he's 5, so off to the Head outdoor adventure center thingy we go. Despite what their website says I don't think they're super strict on registration by 830 and as long as you had your youngin there by start time you were good to go.

I'd taken a lap with him prior to dropping him off down Rabbit Hill/Easy Way and then it was time to go off with the instructor. While he did that I hit the hill for a while, stopping by occasionally to check out what they were doing with him from afar. They taught him how to turn which is good. So at least we've got that down. The whole slowing down thing still kind of evades him tho. They progressed him further than I would've guess in half a day so many props to them for doing so. His instructor, Libby, was friendly and approachable.

After he got done with the instructors we took a couple more laps. He's enjoying himself and was kind of ticked off when we had to leave because I only bought us half day tix. Which is fine, leave them wanting more right?

An end of the day "awesome pose", he skied down the little embankment and into the mud/gravel. My first thought was "Aw No!" but he made it through unscathed (and unmuddied) so it was all good
