The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

Nice pictures and really fine descriptions -- I was pretty much enthralled by the west this year devoting all my plans and resources to it but next year renting a car and hitting several areas along that corridor or New Hampshire sounds really appealing --

So you decided not to do a quick drop into Tuckermans?

I know some board members have skiied it -- I wonder what its like

Also looking at lift prices in the east , they seem to be pretty reasonable including a discount for teenagers which I wish all resorts would do instead of cutting off at 12 and under (a sad example of me lying in front of my boys "no really he's tall for his age, my wife keeps buying chicken with steroid additives")

I don't think that I could "quick drop" into tucks. Given a lot more time it would be tempting. Appalachian Mountain Club has some nice lodges and huts up there as well. As in many facets of life, so many places to ski, so little time. I won't lose sleep over it.

btw, tix at cranmore were $39 and two for one. not bad.
