The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

Almost all packed up, left the GF's early to finish... that is dedication. Those of you on Delta 354 from Atlanta holla. Scoot, kdawg and I will be sporting the Summit T's and be ready to rip some POW! See yall in ATL or SLC!!

you say delta 354? i'll be in a smith hoodie and orange soft shell. just finished the compulsory ski tune and wrapped up the packing. ready, oh my god i'm ready. talked to a friend out there just a few minutes ago and he said it snowed all day long. plenty of clean lines for everyone. h e l l s y e a h.

I just got home from SLC and I left a blizzard!



You guys are going to have unbelievable pow pow tomorrow, but even better by Sunday. It's sick.



I was there for this week and saw only 6" of fresh powder, but it was still a trip of a lifetime. I'll post some pics later.



And Snowbird kicked my tail. It's no joke out there.



Two final words...Honeycomb Canyon.

that was def a short night of on and off sleep. but now im up, and bout to roll twords the airport in about 30 min. so lets get this thing rolling. its gonnna be an epic trip. i guess i woulda slept longer, but i got a text message a 257 am, and i just figured i was not going back to sleep so i turned on the tv. but at least i slept till 3 thats good.

WINTER STORM WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 5 AM

MST SUNDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.



THIS WINTER STORM WARNING IS IN EFFECT FOR THE WASATCH MOUNTAINS

AND BEAR RIVER RANGE OF NORTHERN UTAH...WHERE 16-24 INCHES OF SNOW

IS EXPECTED BY LATE TONIGHT. LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS ARE POSSIBLE.



A FAST MOVING PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING PERIODS OF SNOW TO

THE WASATCH AND BEAR RIVER RANGES OF NORTHERN UTAH BEGINNING THIS

AFTERNOON. SNOW IS EXPECTED TO INITIALLY DEVELOP ACROSS THE

NORTHERN WASATCH AND BEAR RIVER RANGES...THEN SPREAD SOUTHWARD

THROUGH THE REMAINDER OF THE DAY. THIS SNOW IS EXPECTED TO BECOME

PARTICULARLY HEAVY LATE THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH THIS EVENING AS THE

COLD FRONT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS STORM SYSTEM PASSES. HEAVY SNOW

MAY LINGER THROUGH MUCH OF THE OVERNIGHT HOURS...BEFORE TAPERING

OFF TOWARD SUNDAY MORNING.



IN ADDITION TO THE SNOWFALL...STRONG WEST NORTHWEST WINDS ARE

EXPECTED TO DEVELOP THIS EVENING BEHIND THE DEPARTING COLD FRONT.

THESE WINDS WILL RESULT IN SIGNIFICANT BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF

SNOW OVERNIGHT...PARTICULARLY IN EXPOSED AREAS
