As some of you may know, SkiSC had surgery 2 weeks ago to repair his shoulder. Please send him some prayers or vibes for his recovery. He has developed a staph infection.

From his wife yesterday:
Tripp has been admitted to hospital with staph infection. Going to open up the shoulder tonight to clean and culture and then a few days of IV antibiotics and hopefully home. Praying we caught this early enough to not have to redo the surgery.

And today:
Wish I had good news. Tripp needs prayers. The staph infection is much deeper than they had thought. They will open him back up again Friday to remove even more tissue. Tomorrow the infectious disease doctor will start running all the test to see how we fight the bacteria. Probably looking at 6+weeks of IV antibiotics and in the hospital at least thru the weekend.

Today's update from Robin:

Good news: they are not going back into Tripp Thompson shoulder today They will check it again tomorrow but looks like no more surgery. Now to just fight the infection once we find out what we are dealing with. Those results are not back from lab yet.

Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers. It was kind of scary hearing my name and could be life threatening used together. I am not out of the woods yet but starting to feel that I can see a little light at the end of of the proverbial tunnel.
