The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

Hello peeps! I'm helping with the promotions of this festival so I thought I'd post my personal link for you all to get tickets if you are interested. I do get a small portion of proceeds from this link but much of the proceeds go to charities, my favorite being the Jimmy V Foundation.

There will be beer tastings, art and music along with local vendors of clothing, crafts and jewelry.

Charlotte breweries NoDa, Birdsong, OMB, Triple C and Heist will all be providing tastings and other NC breweries are to be announced.

There is a very diverse line up of music including everything from bluegrass tinged rock like the New Familiars and mellow jam stuff like Dangermuffin to more indie rock oriented groups like Of Montreal and the Whigs to even eclectic b-boy hip hop like Mr. Invisible and experimental stuff like Dirty Art Club.

Here's the website:

This Saturday!

If anyone actually goes, be sure to be there early because there is a two hour unlimited beer tasting period from 12-2 pm.

There is also a large screen television area for college football and some of Clt's finest food trucks will be present.
