I've got my Nomad for sale on E-bay, it has no defects apart from some cable rub and cosmetic issues. The Carbon is completely sound.

Basically it's like getting a huge discount on a Carbon Nomad because it has a few tiny scratches and isn't new in the plastic. If you're interested head on over and get you a sweet Carbon Nomad build!!

What are you replacing it with?

Not sure yet, it's a sweet bike to be sure, but it's absolutely overkill for my normal riding conditions. Got any recommendations of sweet hardtails or small travel bikes that are light, quick, and still like to descend when so tasked?

I just built up a Tallboy that fits the bill. Don't expect the downhill performance of a Nomad (obviously), but drop the seat and it's a fun bike going down. I put a 120mm front fork on it and it handles great.

If you don't want a 29er, then I'd recommend something like the Blur XC or TR. 125mm front and back, light, and super quick. I have my Blur LT built up at 27 lbs and it rides like a dream too. (or if you have the money, what about the new Santa Cruz Solo 650B?)
