The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

Cloudmont opened for business on Monday of this week. It has been shut down the better part of at least 3 years. They were able to make plenty of snow but were unable to push it or groom it due to mechanical issues with their machine. Conditions were icy but it was nice to see them open again, however brief it may be. I took a day trip up there Tuesday, it was a nostalgic journey for certain, memories flooded back in waves. While the conditions were not great, the hospitality was as it has always been. Doubtful they make it thru the weekend but proud of their effort to open this week.

New instagram page for Cloudmont, or at least fans of it. Share your stories pictures of the myth, the legend, THE CLOUDMONT!!! If anyone has pictures of the gondola on the backside, you get extra credit.
