The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

I know, old school. A real ski magazine and not a website.
It's a little hard to get into the skiing mood living in Charleston, and no not Charleston, WVa., Charleston, SC. Are there any good skiing magazines that you still subscribe to that at least mention skiing in the southeast/northeast US. I really don't need to know how nice skiing the Alps are.
Thanks!

I'm not sure there is a paper magazine left. SKI gave up on even publishing once a year and is only online for 2022-23.

Have you checked out Storm Skiing Journal? Stuart expanded beyond the northeast a while back. He's been doing podcasts with GMs for mountains all over. Meaning not just Ikon/Epic, also Indy, and little independent mountains in multiple regions. He's the only ski journalist I knew who grew up skiing in the midwest. That gives him a different perspective from someone from New England or Colorado or California.
