The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

We really hope you all will join us on Discord and think you will like the platform. Use the invite link below to join.

Hats off to massanutten i said 15 years ago on this site that YOU CAN put a trail under a chairlift . ITS NOT TOO STEEP OR NARROW SOUTHERN SKIERS CAN HANDLE IT the snowboarders wont go straight into the lift towers i hope.
Go to vermont you will seee tons of steep runs with big rocks right under the chairlift. ITS STEEP, ITS STRAIGHT ITS narrow and if your good enough you can show offffff lol . THIS IS MISSSING IN THE SOUTH. 15 years ago i suggested sugar put a run right under lift at top chairlift. I think winterplace could also.
they told me too steep too narroww WELLL MASSANUTTEN IS LISTEning to my advice and after improvements may move up near the top of mountains in south.
Sugar is good but refuses to let moguls grow on woop de do , maybe new massanutten will pass them by.
DONT LET SUGAR cater to florida skiers you could have the second best mogul run in the south WOOP DE DOOO. GUNTERRRRRRRR HEED MY ADVICE. sNOWBOARDING IS LOSING POPULARITY and eventaully the south will get message . good skiers like a mogul run for challenge.

my youngest brother does snowborading like 50 percent of time. Loves them for hiking to powder, skiing powder and skiing in treees. When snow is firm out comes his skis or if he wants to ski bumps leaves snowboard home.
DOWN SOUTH YOU AINT GOT MUCH POWDER OR TREE RUNS. sell your snowboard and get a NORDICA ENFORCER 94 you will be so happy you will buy me a steak dinner.
I digress snowboards are good in slush wet snow so you do have that in the south my bad.
but the nordica smashes through wet snow very well.
