Both have dealt with warm temps so far this season. The race has always been Sigar and Cat to open first, the new race this year should be Sapphire and Ober.

The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

Looks like Ober is going to win this race, they are now scheduled to open Saturday, Jan 8th. As for Sapphire, no news on when they may open the ski slopes, even though the snow tubing is now open.
