The End of an Era...We are Shutting Down the Messageboard

The messageboard is now in read-only mode and no new posts or topics can be created. We will leave the messageboard up for historical purposes, but you will not be able to make new posts or comment on existing ones.

We have started a Discord server and hope that you all will join us on there. Technology has changed over the years and maintaining the messageboard has become somewhat of a pain in the butt and Discord offers many features for users, the main one being a very polished mobile app.

It sucks. Was planning on going to Snowshoe for Thanksgiving. Now going to Myrtle Beach. Eesh.

Hey, just need to make the short drive over to Targhee. They are opening Friday and have had 83 inches of snow already.

We going to see any trip reports with pictures? If all goes according to plan I'll be showing a couple friends around GT on Dec. 12.

It may be a delayed start, but with this week, most places will be open. I’ve seen much worse in the past.

Meh, I wouldn't call the first week of December late. I remember much worse starts to seasons. Sugar is "open" today, looks like most of the remaining resorts by this weekend.

I saw several people on the lifts at Ober yesterday. Looks liked they opened or either it was staff but it did not look like staff apparel.

Watching the cams. People were on lift 3 chairs several times yesterday afternoon.
