"Snow making improvements have also been done, this includes the installation of over 70 new fan guns. "
All the big announcement stuff was in regards to the new chairlifts. Happy to finally hear about the snowmaking improvements as well.

As long as Timberline doesn't use that new snow cat to groom everything like Snowshoe does most of the time I will be really happy. Timberline was truly a gem to have a trail, "Off The Wall" with almost 1,000 vertical feet of rarely groomed goodness. Timberline often would not even flatten the whales from snow making on that trail.

Heard that they hope to be ready to take reservations for the Timberline slopeside hotel in November. Really looking like a true "ski resort" not just a "ski area."
